All jeep operators and tour guides under Piknik Enthusiast coordinate regularly with the Semeru Volcano Observation Post (PVMBG) and BPBD. The tour only crosses the green zone which is declared safe and will be diverted if there is a warning of increased volcanic activity status or the potential for cold lava flooding.
