For Bromo and Ijen it is relatively safe. However, the Tumpak Sewu route has several cliff areas and iron stairs so it is not recommended for participants who have a phobia of heights.

Public toilets are available in the Bromo parking area, Ijen climbing post and Tumpak Sewu entrance. However, the facilities are of natural tourism standard.
The trip can still run, but the Tumpak Sewu route usually becomes slippery and the water flow is heavier. The guide will adjust field conditions for the safety of participants.
Sometimes there are sellers of disposable raincoats around tourist locations, but it is still recommended to bring your own raincoat from home.
Participants are not allowed to bring drones in some areas without official permission, and are prohibited from bringing alcohol or dangerous items during the trip.
