The journey from the Bromo area to Bondowoso/Banyuwangi (Ijen area) takes approximately 5 to 6 hours driving.
The difference lies in the Bromo package, for the standard package (Privatetrip Ijen & Opentrip Bromo), while for the Exclusive package (Premium Private Trip) all the trips are private trips.
Yes, very important. Because the smell of sulfur in Ijen Crater can be very dangerous for breathing. In our package, gas masks and flashlights are provided free of charge.
Blue Fire is a natural phenomenon. Its existence is greatly influenced by weather and volcanic activity. If the smoke conditions are too thick or rainy, authorities sometimes prohibit tourists from descending to the bottom of the crater for safety.
This package includes a Private Guide, who will accompany you on your climb to the crater area.
Yes, climbing Ijen requires walking uphill for -+3km (around 1.5 - 2 hours walking). Unlike Bromo, which can be accessed by a jeep, at Ijen you have to walk from the area to the top.
The climb usually starts at around 02.00 in the morning so you can catch the Blue Fire moment and the sunrise at the peak.
Prices listed are for Indonesian citizens/local tourism. For foreigners, there will be an additional surcharge according to the difference in the entrance ticket price set by the National Park
Yes, at Ijen Crater there is a "Human Trolley" service or trolley taxis pulled by local residents to take guests to the top. These fees are personal expenses and are not included in the package.
